Bridget’s Garden in Stanford Hill before and after (well half done at least). Still to come sedums for ground cover, bamboo and paint job on back wall and a world of red and orange plants to wake it all up. Actually can’t wait to see what this looks like finished. Not long hopefully it will be complete by the end of August.

I am in LOVE, stepney city farm is bursting with vegetables, fruit, animals, songs, children, permaculture and coffee!

Some beautiful and rare discoveries in Walthamstow

if you want the rainbow….

Rain is an opportunity for grounding, plants need it as it helps their roots develop deep into the soil, providing nourishment and stability.

We usually see it as bad weather but to me it’s a chance to re-group, get my house in order, clear up. There is nothing like a storm to quieten the mind, that is to give some perspective on the noise on the inside.

The rain is an opportunity for self cultivation, home improvement and mindful practice like mediation.

Also acknowledging that the sun is still shining behind the rain cloud and one of the gifts of living in this climate is the extreme impact a sunny day has on lifting the nations spirits, without all the down pours and dark clouds we would never know such gratitude and light.

'If you want the rainbow, you must have the rain'

We worked very very hard today! FROGG GREEN GYM - how hard is it to clear over grown buxus!
